me Kimbap Noona's Korean Lessons :)

Hi there! I'm Emma. I'm English and i’m 21 and i'm attempting to teach myself korean ~ i am in no way anywhere near fluent. I know a few people will find this helpful so i made this blog just for the Korean stuff. Enjoy. :) <3

Anonymous submitted: Hi ! what's difference between Gomawo and Kamsahamnida ?? Thank U ...

Hi :)

Okay, gomawo/고마워 is informal so should really only be used to people the same age as you or younger or to friends :) (kind of like ‘thanks/cheers/ta’ and ‘thank you’)

kamsahamnida/감사합니다 is formal (but not super formal) so if you’re speaking to somebody older/ you’re not sure of their age or to a stranger etc.. it’s best to use this

Hope this helps.
